How to work with a fight director to make stage combat look as good as possible with as little rehearsal time as possible. This is a broad overview of stage combat principles so that you're more prepared in future to make an unarmed fight look great onstage!

This workshop is led by Melissa Freilich, who works as a director, teacher and fight choreographer in Baltimore, MD. She is a certified teacher Dueling Arts International and the Society of American Fight Directors, as well as an Alexander Technique teacher for AmSAT. Her passions include directing plays with strong female characters, biking around Baltimore, and helping people enjoy stage combat whether or not they think of themselves as coordinated.
